EcoVero is a viscose fabric made from sustainably sourced, renewable resources and the end product is completely biodegradable. The overall environmental impact is so low that it has been awarded the prestigious EU Ecolabel. EcoVero performs exceptionally well for everyday wear as it is very soft, comfortable, breathable and durable with a lovely drape and resistance to wrinkling. It is great for sportswear as the cellulose fibers regulate moisture and stay cool. A wonderful choice for your professional wardrobe as well, as this fabric retains vivid color, does not pill and can mimic silk. Versatile, comfortable and easy to wear, EcoVero is an exciting development in eco-friendly fashion.A beautiful 240 GSM EcoVero viscose/spandex single knit jersey in pistachio (PANTONE 14-6319 is close), lightweight and opaque with beautiful drape. EcoVero is a new (developed by the Austrian company Lenzing in 2017) type of rayon product that is manufactured using more sustainable practices. It is cool, comfortable, soft and smooth, and the 240 GSM weight is fabulous for trendy tops and tees, yoga wear, flowy skirt or dress, etc. It has about 50% stretch in both directions with great recovery. Machine wash gentle, hang to dry. It is perfectly comparable to our standard 11 oz. jersey, which is being phased out.
